ABB – SH200
The SH 200 miniature circuit breaker is perfectly suitable for protecting lighting and power socket circuits that can be frequently found in residential areas. ABB used its years of experience with miniature circuit breaker to create this product by combining the optimum features for residential use alone.
“The Compact Home range is versatile to provide the
customer with the perfect solution for residential over
current protection. It is available in tripping characteristics
B and C type; with breaking capacities between 3 and 6 kA.
As usual for ABB miniature circuit breaker, SH 200 is
available from one to four poles and additional in one &
three pole plus Neutral. The rated currents are limited to
6 A up to 40 A as it is common in residential applications.”

ABB – MCCB
“The new SACE FORMULA family consists of three new A1,
A2 and A3 frames which reach up to 125A, 250A and 630A
respectively.
The three frames are available in the fixed version, with front
terminals.
The protection trip unit has fixed thermal and magnetic
threshold values for putting the circuit-breaker into service
more rapidly. This way selection becomes simple and precise.
With a few sales codes which simplify selection and make
ordering easier. Installation is simplified, and thanks to easy
and rapid fixing operations and set-up, the circuit-breaker is
ready for use immediately”“Quality is great versatility. In addiction to proposing all three
frames in the three-pole and four-pole version, for the first time
ABB SACE now proposes single-pole and two-pole versions up
to 250A, opening the door to the most varied application fields.
Quality is compact overall dimensions. The SACE FORMULA
A1 and A2 depth of just 60 mm is the lowest on the market up
to 250A. “Category: ABB -

ABB OPR
DESCRIPTION
During a storm, when propagation field conditions are favorable, an OPR ESE air terminal will generate an upward leader. This upward leader from the OPR tip propagates towards the downward leader from the cloud.
The emission of an early streamer to a lightning event delivers a beneficial triggering time compared to a single rod air terminal exposed to the same conditions. This in turn drives the enhanced performance and protective distance achievable by ESE devices.
The beneficial triggering time is determined as the average time gained at the moment of sparkover, with efficiency confirmed by high-voltage laboratory testing. All ESE tests are defined in Annex C of the French standard NF C 17-102 (2011 Version). This beneficial triggering makes OPR air terminals especially effective for the protection of industrial sites, administrative or public buildings, monuments and open-air sites such as sports grounds.
OPR: the high pulse voltage, early streamer lightning air terminal
In ongoing collaboration with the CNRS (French National Research Organization), ABB continues to innovate and has developed a new generation of lightning protection devices – the OPR early streamer emission (ESE system). This OPR range delivers improved performance in early streamer initiation and propagation, and represents further progress in terms of lightning protection, operating autonomy and ease of maintenance. These advancements reinforce ABB’s leading position in active lightning protection, with over 200000 installations worldwide.
